How we collect and use (process) your personal information

Akuru Pty Ltd collects personal information about the users of its software. With a few exceptions, this information is generally limited to:

We use this information to provide customers with services.

From time to time, Akuru Pty Ltd receives personal information about individuals from third parties. We do not sell personal information to anyone and only share it with third parties who are facilitating the delivery of our services. Typically, information collected from third parties will include further details on your employer or industry. We may also collect your personal data from third party websites. We hold this data in accordance with the APPs.

Use of the i-scribe.com.au website

As is true of most other websites, Akuru Pty Ltd’s software, i-scribe, has a website that collects certain information automatically and stores it in log files. The information may include internet protocol (IP) addresses, the region or general location where your computer or device is accessing the internet, browser type, operating system and other usage information about the use of the i-scribe website,
including a history of the pages you view. We use this information to help us design our site to better suit our users’ needs. Our data retention policies ensure that personal information is kept only as long as necessary for its intended purpose.

Akuru Pty Ltd retains service data for the duration of the customer’s business relationship with Akuru Pty Ltd and for a period of time thereafter, to analyse the data for Akuru Pty Ltd’s own operations, and for historical and archiving purposes associated with Akuru Pty Ltd’s services. Akuru Pty Ltd retains prospect data until such time as it no longer has business value and is purged from Akuru Pty Ltd systems. All personal data that Akuru Pty Ltd controls may be deleted upon verified request from Data Subjects or their authorised agents.
